Here’s a narrative for you. Americans have held mass public protests against the lockdowns every day since Easter Sunday.
The darkest day in a long time was Easter Sunday 2020. Not even on this most special day, in this most free country, were the churches open. This was not something that even the USSR could accomplish: to shutter churches.
It turns out that was the darkest day for many others. That day has served as a rallying cry. Since that day, resistance has only grown and is likely going to continue until corona communism has come to an end.
Protests Every Day of The Week!
Six weeks ago people in some places were barely leaving their homes. Today people are leaving their homes, en masse, every single day of the week to get in the face of officials and disobediently protest. Not only are they protesting for the sake of protesting, but they are protesting the orders by getting out and living their lives.

Let’s run through a week of snapshots from Easter Sunday, culminating in a week later, when thousands attended public protests refusing to be kept home by government order.
Easter Sunday — Across the Country
On Sunday, April 12, 2020, hundreds, perhaps thousands of churches remained open in violation of lockdown orders across the country with reports from California and Mississippi alike.
Monday, April 13, 2020 — Ohio
Ohio protestors gathered during Gov. Mike DeWine’s daily Covid-19 briefing to make their voices heard.
Tuesday, April 14, 2020 — North Carolina
North Carolina protestors met outside the Legislative Building in Raleigh against Gov. Roy Cooper’s March 27 order.
Wednesday, April 15, 2020 — Utah, Kentucky, Michigan
As Kentucky’s Gov. Andy Beshear held his daily briefing, hundreds in Kentucky gathered outside his press briefing room, and could be audibly heard inside demanding an end to the shutdown.
That same day, protestors clogged the streets of Lansing, Michigan, with honking car horns and informal gatherings in “Operation Gridlock,” to protest Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s statewide lockdown, “choking Lansing traffic for miles.”
Wednesday evening, in the “Walk for Freedom,” Washington County, Utah protestors denounced Gov. Gary Herbert’s restrictions as unconstitutional.
Thursday, April 16, 2020 — Minnesota
A “Live Free Minnesota” protest was held outside the govenor’s mansion against Gov. Tim Walz’s stay-at-home order.

Friday, April 17, 2020 — Minnesota Part 2
“Liberate Minnesota” staged a protest Friday afternoon outside the governor’s residence. 800 attended.
Saturday, April 18, 2020 — Utah, Maryland, & California
Close to 1,000 attended the Utah Business Revival rally organized by Eric Moutsos, with visiting dignitary Ammon Bundy from nearby Idaho attending. That morning the governor, feeling considerable pressure to reopen the state, signed a bill to start that process. Unsatisfied, 1,000 people still marched on the state capital. That’s a state with some hard to please free people!
Maryland
ReOpen Maryland with 21,000 members and Marylanders Against Excessive Quarantine organized Operation Gridlock Annapolis with at least 200 cars driving slowly around the capital.
San Diego, California
Naomi Israel, organized a Freedom Rally, Saturday, outside of the San Diego Hall of Justice. Under threat of arrest since the event, Israel, is being represented by Center for American Liberty, a legal advocacy organization, which is fighting the California lockdown orders on several fronts, including a lawsuit againstqqq the governor for prohibiting in person church services.
Sunday, April 19, 2020 — Illinois, Florida, Tennessee, Washington, Colorado, Pennsylvania, California
Protesters shouting “Open Illinois!” took to the steps of the Lincoln Statue in Springfield as part of the national “Operation Gridlock” movement.
Florida
The group Reopen South Florida organized the South Florida Tri-County Car Caravan.
Tennessee
The Nashville Freedom Rally was organized by #FreeTN in front of Tennessee’s capitol, held in conjunction with gatherings in Chattanooga, Jackson, Knoxville and Memphis.

Washington
In Olympia, 2,500 showed up outside the state capital for “Hazardous Liberty! Defend the Constitution!” A simultaneous event took place at the Spokane County Courthouse.
Colorado Saw Thousands
Colorado saw thousands attend two protests at the state capitol according to the New York Post. One was an Operation Gridlock Denver event for 1 p.m. that day, intended to choke traffic and make a ruckus as people moved slowly in their cars through the capital city. The other was a 2-4 p.m. event organized by libertarian groups.
“Pot shops are open, abortion clinics are open and my church is closed,” said protester Mary Conley of Jefferson County.
Denver Post coverage of the event states:
“For about four hours, they drove trucks, cars, vans, motorcycles and buses down Lincoln Street, honking their horns, waving through sunroofs, flying ‘Don’t Tread on Me’ flags and creating a cacophony. One man passed the capitol building several times on horseback, wearing a cowboy hat and carrying an American flag.”
Harrisburg, Pennsylvania Saw Thousands Too
Harrisburg, Pennsylvania saw about 2,000 protestors Monday, April 20. It was organized by the 71,000 member Pennsylvanians Against Excessive Quarantine along with the 62,000 member ReOpen PA and End The Lockdown PA.
Encinitas, California
“A group of about 100 people marched along South Coast Highway 101 Sunday to protest the closure of beaches, parks and trails in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.” Eager to apply pressures the disconnected mayor, the mob stopped at Encinitas Mayor Catherine Blakespear’s house, with some carrying signs that said “Recall Blakespear.”
Governors Are Not Feeling Enough Pressure
Plenty of lockdowns are loosening up, but governor’s are not feeling enough pressure.
Do you know when a governor is feeling enough pressure?
When there is a nervous, apologetic fear in your governor’s voice and noticeably less restriction on your life today then there was before the lockdown started. Plenty of arrogant governors are a long way from that. In fact, some, such as California’s Gavin Newsome, are continuing to tighten down on their populations to this very day as other governors lift restrictions, and still others praise their own foresight in not falling for the hype.

California Protests Hit A Nerve
If no one notices you’re protest, you’re probably doing something wrong. That’s not what happened in California, where someone riled up the easily triggered Gavin Newsome.
California protests have been so impactful that all future protests on any state property, including the capital building, were declared banned.
). Yup banned. Good job California protestors. You clearly hit a nerve. Hit a few more nerves like that and the out-of-touch overlords will start to wonder if their policies are worth the trouble.
The Most Wonderful Protest
Researching this piece demonstrated how much the media is refusing to cover protests in many locations. If politicians and public health bureaucrats don’t wisen up, next week we may see protests in every locked down state every day of the week.
The most important protest, however, is your own protest when you defy the ban, reject the precepts of this imposed corona communism, and demand to live life on your own terms.
