The strange thing that stood out from the former Minnesota governor appearing on Larry King Live was that his truTV program Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura was never discussed. What is the reason for this "hush hush" over this controversial show? It was fine and dandy to discuss his actual book about conspiracies though.

The former governor of Minnesota and author of American Conspiracies discussed a number of subjects from waterboarding, Afghanistan, the legalization of pot, health care, and gays in the military, the latter which he supported. He blasted the Democrats and Republicans, who he charged with putting their parties’ interests first over the interests of the country, deeming it like pro wrestling, where wrestlers combat each other in public but behind the scenes they’re "going out to dinner and cutting deals." He deemed the Tea Party Movement "kind of a laugh" and "more of a right wing movement" because they weren’t around to protest the taking away of habeas corpus rights and destruction of 4th Amendment rights. On Sarah Palin, he didn’t have any kind words for her, calling her "a quitter" for leaving her job as Alaska governor. He said she left that post to "cash in and make big money."
